About Us
Appletree Daycare and boarding has been welcoming dogs since 2016. We are situated between Bury St. Edmunds and Newmarket with easy access to the A14. We are in a semi-rural hamlet known as Ashfield Green under postcode CB88UZ.
Licensed by West Suffolk Council under AWL0038 we hold a 5star rating awarded by both West Sufflock and google.
Appletree is secured with electric gates followed by second gates for security along with cameras. We have 3 areas for the dogs inside the house where dogs can be accommodated along with crates of varrying sizes if required to be used by the owner.
When you first contact us we will run over a few details together and then I would suggest a meet and greet, to give the opportunity for your dog to meet my Meg a 3 year old Sprocker. We can have a chat and we can see how your dog settles. I would the suggest a few hrs trial without you just again to see how they settle if you are planning a holiday, this way they can get to know me and vice versa, and very important see you return for them. This way they can relax and have fun playing knowing you will return. If I feel maybe an overnight trial is necessary I will suggest this. We really want your dog to be relaxed whilst staying with us.
Many guests have come again and again over the years but we always welcome both new Daycare and Boarding dogs (spaces permitting). They are all different characters and it is always lovely to get know someone new.
Unfortunately we do not accommodate intact males over 12mths.

When your dog comes to stay we would ask you bring their food, bed and lead and any medication required. Quantities and dosage to be specified onto the form supplied. We would prefer not too have toys as this can cause squabbling and for the toys to be damaged.
We will provide the entertainment.
Daycare
We offer a wide range of Daycare for dogs. We are flexible in the hours required and understand this may alter slightly on the day, all we ask is you keep in touch so as to know when to expect you ( within the hours specified above). Quite often we can help if needed last minute if maybe a family emergency were to occur.
Boarding
Drop-off and collection within times shown above, again if you are held up please just let us know.
We will require one days deposit which is nonrefundable at the time of booking, with the balance being due 14 days prior to arrival. Invoice will be issued showing your deposit deducted.
Terms and Conditions are given at the time of booking for both Daycare and Boarding and in the form quantities for food, medication and general requirements and habits can be entered We would need a copy of the vaccination card also. Whilst your pet is with us we want it to be happy and enjoy their stay and also for you to relax so photos can be sent via WhatsApp to keep you up to date with what they are up to.
